Historical Background

The Centurion Mk.III was developed as a heavy cruiser tank to counter powerful German Army tanks during WWII. Perhaps the most polished Centurion variant, the Mk.III was equipped with the L/66.7 20-pounder long barrel gun. It was deployed in the Korean War in 1950 and showed overwhelming strength, saving Allied forces from crisis many times. Production reached approximately 2,800 units between 1948 and 1956. After the Korean War, the Mk.III was deployed in European countries and other areas such as India, Israel, and Egypt with formidable force.

Control and Electronics

The control unit uses 4 channels to control forward and back movement, sharp turns, and pivots at any speed. Gun elevation, recoil, and turret rotation can also be controlled. This Full Option kit requires a 4-channel R/C system and includes advanced electronics that coordinate precise model movement with realistic sound and light effects.

Realistic Audio and Visual Effects

Engine sounds are synchronized with model speed, while main gun and machine gun firing are realistically accompanied by lights and sound facilitated by the DMD Multi-Function Unit. Features a powerful 57mm dual speaker unit that produces authentic engine sounds recreating the Rolls-Royce Meteor engine, main gun firing sounds, and machine gun sounds. LED lights are included for headlights and muzzle flash effects.

Movement and Recoil Action

The model provides a full range of R/C movement including forward, reverse, and turns, along with 360-degree turret rotation. The main gun features realistic barrel recoil and vehicle kickback action upon firing simulation.
