Tamiya X-10 Gun Metal is a 23ml water-soluble acrylic paint for modelers adding metallic details to aircraft, vehicles, ships, and other scale subjects. Its gloss finish works for brush painting or airbrushing.

Product Details

  • Color: X-10 Gun Metal
  • Finish: Gloss
  • Paint type: Water-soluble acrylic resin
  • Contents: One 23ml bottle
  • Compatible surfaces: Styrene, resin, common model plastics, Styrofoam, and wood
  • Application: Brush painting or airbrushing

Use and Compatibility

Use X-10 Gun Metal for metallic areas and details on aircraft, military vehicles, cars, ships, and other scale models. Thin for airbrushing with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner, or use Tamiya Lacquer Thinner for faster drying and a harder finish.

Application Notes

For smoother brushwork, Tamiya Paint Retarder can help reduce visible brush strokes. Before curing, the paint washes away with plain water. Apply to clean, dry surfaces and follow the thinner manufacturer's instructions.
