This is the third entry in our Creator Works series, a collaboration with Shoji Kawamori!
This kit is a replica of the ASF-X Shinden II from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. The aircraft's charm lies in its futuristic form, a hallmark of fictional mecha design, combined with realistic styling that incorporates elements of next-generation modern aircraft.
The canards and tail wings are articulated. The wingtips and engine nozzles can be posed in either their standard or downward-angled position by swapping parts. The kit's parts can be configured to represent three different modes: Normal, SSC (Stealth Super Cruise), and STOVL (Short Takeoff/Vertical Landing). The landing gear can be built for either a flight or parked display.
The kit includes a seated pilot figure, six long-range air-to-air missiles, and four 70mm rocket pods to be mounted under the wings. A versatile, clear display stand is also included, which is perfect for an in-flight display.
