Once a canceled project, the single-seat delta-wing VF-0C was re-approved for development due to strong demand from the Marine Corps, who wanted to replace their aging Harriers and Sea Harriers inherited from pre-UN military forces.

This kit combines the single-seat nose and head (Type A) with the delta wings. It also includes new weapon parts for the top of the fuselage and the underside of the main wings. The parts are molded in light gray.
