The EMD F7 is a 1,500-horsepower diesel locomotive built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division between 1949 and 1953. The F7 was EMD's fourth model in the line of F-unit locomotives and was by far the best-selling cab unit of all time. The F7 primarily differed from the F3 in internal equipment, but there were some noticeable external changes such as the grills and the dynamic brake hatches. F7's operated in both passenger and freight service, and many of them remained in service for decades.

In this production, we are offering newly tooled A and B units to represent the Norfolk Southern executive F units as they ran before being sold to RBMN and the ACWR. In addition to the NS executive locomotives, we are also offering the RBMN and ACWR schemes. Other road names included in this run are the CDOT New Haven McGinnis scheme, Chicago and Northwestern Executive F7's, Amtrak, and a Fantasy Wheeling and Lake Erie scheme with Chase's Train Garage.

Our Stealth Series offerings will consist of No-Sound / DCC-Ready A/B Sets, single A-units and single B-units. All of our models have road-specific details.
