Ford’s original “Pony Car” has been the bestselling sports car globally for the past decade. But in 2022, Shelby American unveiled its most extreme creation yet: the GT500 Code Red.

The Code Red stands as the ultimate Shelby Mustang for straight-line performance, turning an incredible 8.59 seconds in the quarter mile. Its hand-built, twin-turbocharged V-8 delivers up to 1,300 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. Originally conceived in 2008, the Code Red became a real-world engineering marvel, with improved suspension, cooling, and aesthetics that make it one of the most powerful Mustangs ever built. Only 30 units were ever produced.

AFX brings this ultra-rare machine to HO scale with stunning detail: a high rear wing, sleek sloping body, and the iconic cobra grille. Despite its name, the car features a primarily black body accented by bold red striping and interior details like matching red seatbelts. Muscular 5-spoke wheels complete the look of this racing beast.
